Christianna M.L. Reed is an associate with the New York City law firm of Kaufmann, Feiner, Yamin, Gildin & Robbins LLP. Ms. Reed joined the firm in February of 2007 and concentrates her practice in franchise law, franchise securitization financings, mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactions.
Ms. Reed represents the firm's franchise and distribution clients in planning and implementing national and international franchise programs through the preparation of franchise agreements, disclosure documents and ancillary documents.
Ms. Reed also serves corporate clients through a broad range of services, including merger and acquisition transactions; the preparation and negotiation of domestic and international contracts; corporate organizations and reorganizations; employment and shareholder agreements; licensing and investment agreements; and real estate matters.
Ms. Reed received a Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Eastern Nazarene College in 1999 and graduated from Boston College Law School in 2002. While in law school she published The Child Witness and the Law in the Oregon Review of International Law and presented her law review article at the Harvard University Center for Population and Development Studies. Ms. Reed also spent a semester in Tokyo, Japan, at the Temple University School of Law, studying Japanese and United States corporate law, international contract drafting, and international finance and tax systems.
Ms. Reed is admitted to practice law in New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine.
